If you've been a regular North Park Clubhouse customer for a while you have probably already been entertained by our famous "Clubhouse Fire Drill" that we do each weekend night! What? You haven't seen it? Shame on you! Let me tell you for those who haven't seen one of the most creative, unique and crazy 3 minutes in any restaurant in all of Pittsburgh. The lights go dim....The Fire Alarm lights begin to flash.... All of a sudden special music gets louder and louder!....A special video is shown on the big screen TV....People start to gather around...Employees stand on chairs and walk and start a rhythmic clapping....then the fun begins! The Clubhouse Employees dressed in Firemen gear, complete with hoses, axes and fire fighting equipment, start running through the entire Restaurant, blowing whistles. They serpentine their way through customers tables at a frantic pace. All of a sudden, they stop! The music stops! The head firefighter catches his breath and makes the following announcement to everyone in the entire Restaurant, Bar and Game Room. As they wait in anticipation for these now famous words....."Ladies and Gentlemen and all Children, we are the Clubhouse Volunteer Fire Department, each week we pick one lucky table and decide to burn their entire check." As each table anxiously awaits to hear if they have been the lucky one, the firefighters announce the table, take their check, hold it high for everyone to observe, then proceed to actually light it on fire! As the customers and employees yell and clap with great delight, the firefighters douse the burning check with water. The music gets louder and the firefighters frantically run through the dining room to go back to their station. WOW! See what you've been missing! So visit us soon and maybe you'll be the lucky table to get their entire check burned.
